Hi Everybody,
Sophie, from Le Fabuleux Destin de Sophie Amelie, had suggested that we do a tour of Halifax and show off some of our favorite places. We thought that was a great idea:) this post is the first part of that tour. We visited the Museum of Natural History. Here are some pictures of us there.
Gus has lived at the Natural History Museum for a very long time and is on display every day that the museum is open. He has a public birthday party every summer.. The scoop on poop exhibit has been a permanent year round exhibit for longer than our human Toby has been alive or so her older brothers tell her.
There is a movie costumes exhibit that is on for the entire summer. The above picture and the next few ones are all from that exhibit.
This one was taken outside the museum. |
Gus is a local celebrity, he is a gopher tortoise and is turning 90 in august. |
This is the scoop on poop exhibit. It is kind of gross but really fascinating too. |
This is Darth Vader's costume from one of the Star Wars Movies. |
Obi Wan Kenobi:) |
Batman |
Robin |
The Wicked Witch of the West's hat from the Wizard of Oz movie |

Sophia and I stayed at our host's house today and hung and relaxed while
our sister McKenna went off on adventures. Here are a couple of
pictures from today in Montreal.
Here she is at the lookout at the top of Mont Royal. There is a great view
of the entire city of Montreal behind her.
Here a lion has captured her!!! There are 2 enormous stone lion statues at the base of Mont Royal.
