Ma Jumelle: Cecile

Hello Everybody, Bonjour!!!
This is Lucie speaking.  I have mentioned before that I had a sister but I didn't say that she was my twin.  I like her fine but we aren't really 100% best friends but I am OK with her coming and living here in Halifax with the rest of us.

Obviously we are identical, that's me on the left and Cecile on the right (wearing the skirt).

Picking earrings.  We were finally allowed to get our ears pierced, we did this when I was back home in France over the summer.  we came back to Halifax together.
First picture with my ears pierced.  It hurt less than I had thought it would :)

Cecile's earrings. She found it more painful than I did.

Our dogs meetings each other.  The smaller one is mine.

We took a trip to the ocean while I was home in France.

Helping my sister with her English homework.  We love our new binders.

Here's a little gymnastics, this was taken here in Halifax.  Zoe is doing the handstands and I am holding Cecile's feet.

And to celebrate the arrival of fall, here is a harvest photo, Zoe and a zucchini (she has fallen in love with the blue clip in hair streaks).

that's it for now.

And to those who celebrate, happy Rosh Hashanah, l shanah tova.  Happy Jewish New Year (arrives at sundown tonight).  Check out our instagram feed (@hfxgirltoo) later tonight for Rosh Hashanah photos.  May your new year be sweet and blessed.

A bientot
Lucie
p.s. sorry for the missing accents in this post on the french words, not sure how to get those keyboard changes in this blog context

From Canada Day, Lissa colored the end of her hair red and the dye got on her white shorts and jacket, luckily it washed out easily.

Amaya and Yoko had a birthday too (july 11th).  they celebrated by going to the pool at our guardian's grandmother's apartment building not far from where we live.

Don't have any photos but they also had cake and got a few presents too.  Their favorites are: fancy paper for Amaya and a new leotard for Yoko.

Lots of photos

Hi Everybody,
This is Sophia and Emma.  Sorry we haven't been blogging that often and we even missed our blogoversary:(
We have been really busy and so has our mom.  Because of that, it's been easier to use instagram, takes a lot less time.
Here are a few pictures of Zoe and Chloe:

Here are Zoe and Chloe sitting above the French section in the children's department of the old public library.  They wanted to visit it before the new one opens across the street in the fall.
Recap:  Lissa from Passover at my grandma's apartment.
Seder plate:)
Recap:  earth day photo at the public gardens (Zoe, Chloe and Lissa)
Yoko had to have her photo taken during International Dance week back in April.
And finally, here are a couple new photos of us :)
This is our favorite one and we might use it as our new user pic :)

Just wanted to add that much to our disappointment, we were confused about the deal with AG stores in Canada.  We are only getting a kiosk out here, the only specialty boutiques are in Vancouver and in the Toronto area, all the rest are kiosks like out here.  that means that you can go to the Chapters-Indigo stores that are listed on the chapters website as carrying AG products and you can order items into their store from the list of items that are available for sale in Canada.  So that comes out to mean free shipping which isn't a bad thing in the end.

That's it for now.

Happy Belated Easter and exciting news :)

Hi Everybody,
This is Sophia and Emma.  We know easter was a while ago but here are a couple of fun photos.

A look inside Sophia's easter basket, she didn't get peanut butter eggs like the other girls but the rest of her basket is exactly the same.

Here we are all together enjoying our easter candy :)  Yes there are now 3 sets of twins in our household, (Zoe and Chloe aren't identical twins the way the 2 other sets are).
That's it for easter fun.

Now for the big exciting news:  Chapters/Indigo is opening an AG specialty boutique right here in Halifax where we live.  We found out by accident last week when our mom was shopping there.  Halifax is the biggest city in Nova Scotia and AG is supposedly putting one of those boutiques in each province, so it makes sense that it would be in Halifax.  We know this is true because the employee said that they already even have AG stock in their back room!!!  It's hard to believe as there are not even any rumors circulating yet about the Canadian specialty boutiques after the rumors about Winnipeg.

That's it for now.
Sophia and Emma :) :)

Introducing: the new girls :)

Hi Everybody,
We are the new girls:)  We're Zoe and Chloe (we're fraternal twins) and Vasilissa, but everybody calls me Lissa.

Zoe is the one on the right and Chloe is on the left.  We're from Aix en Provence like Lucie.  She's our friend from back home, we lived on the same street.  In case you can't see in the photo, Chloe has blue eyes and I don't, I have brown eyes.  We weren't actually born in France but in Japan :)  We're cousins to Amaya and Yoko, we have japanese names as well as French ones.  Our full names are Zoe Zamiko and Chloe Chiharu.
Here is a picture of us with Lucie and her dog Milou.  We are 11 years old by the way.  We'll be 12 in June.
By the way, this is Chloe speaking, I was born with a hearing impairment so I wear hearing aids in both ears.  I am good at lip reading too.  I have learned quite a lot of sign language and the other girls here are interested in learning to sign too.
This is me Lissa, outside on a recent and rare warm spring day.  I am french Canadian, I am from Montreal, Quebec.  I am 14 years old.  I was orphaned early in life so I have mostly lived in foster homes.
Here is a close up of me, Lissa :)
And finally, one last group photo of the 3 of us.

That's it for now.
Zoe, Chloe and Lissa :)
